LESSONS

i’m sitting here discouraged, and i shouldn’t be. my faith, my trust is wavering, and it shouldn’t be. God is using me, using the state of my life, to do exciting things and to learn and grow in him. it’s great! and i really do get pretty excited about it.

i am learning to be a better friend and daughter and sister. God is giving me opportunities to support, encourage, and help others. i get to spend time in Haiti, a place i love! He is allowing me to go. that’s amazing. and not only go, but make connections, learn, and plan :) i have a great job. i am blessed to be able to bless others. i love what God is doing and i am excited about what’s next!

…and here i am, discouraged. upset. doubting. because God is doing exciting things in the lives of my friends too. different things. and i find myself wanting those things. sigh… and i shouldn’t be.
