LESSONS

a new place tomorrow… I am sad to leave this place, but our attempts to stay a couple extra days were not successful, so off we go. I am one emotional girl and my heart attaches quickly, so even though there is excitement in what’s ahead, leaving the comfort and connections here is hard. so for now, I will soak up every last moment, I will lavish hugs and kisses on the kids, I will take lots of pictures, I will enjoy these final conversations with new friends, and I will thank my God and pray for a refreshed heart, ready for the next adventure!

with all that on my mind, last night was so lovely :) …after dinner, we all (staff and team members) hung out till late talking while drinking hot chocolate and eating delicious popcorn. it was so nice to just sit around and enjoy community.

clinics this week have gone great! the two doctors have been so fun to work with and like pseudo dads for the week :) we saw tons of patients and got to pray for many of them… lots of practice with my minimal creole too!

the kids cause me to laugh, cry, and love like I would not think possible! I have enjoyed my time with them so much this week… playing, talking, worshiping. precious moments for sure.

next up is clinic work with Samaritan’s Purse… we are excited, but nervous about this next endeavor. so pray for us please! we are so thankful for the support of friends and family :) we need you all. mesi, thank you.
